250 ml (1 cup) margarine
1 cup sugar
½ cup dark brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
115 g semisweet chocolate, melted
2Combine margarine, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.
3Cream mixture with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
4Stir dry ingredients (flour and baking soda) into creamed mixture until batter is well blended.
5Add chocolate chips and pecans to batter and stir.
6Using a tablespoon, drop cookies 7cm apart onto prepared baking sheet.
7Press cookies lightly with a fork.
8Bake for 10 - 12 minutes.
9Melt chocolate and pipe onto tops of cookies.
