Indulge in the delightful simplicity of our Ladoo recipe. These sweet, bite-sized treats are a beloved part of Indian cuisine, perfect for celebrations or as an everyday treat. Made from a combination of roasted gram flour (besan), ghee, sugar, and aromatic spices, these ladoos are a burst of sweetness in every bite.
500 ml Gram Flour
10 ml Baking Powder
5 ml Egg Yellow Colouring
250 ml Cold Water (Add more if needed)
Syrup
500 ml Sugar
5 ml Elachi Powder
250 ml Water
5 ml Egg Yellow food colouring
5 ml Red Colouring
Boil Sugar and water to form a sticky syrup. Keep syrup warm
1Sift Gram Flour, Baking Powder.
2Mix colouring into water and mix with a wooden spoon to form smooth weak batter.
4Pour butter into colander held over hot oil, bit by bit will fall into oil.
5Drain and put into syrup.
6When all is soaked properly.
7When cold add 5ml elachi powder, 25ml desiccated coconut, 50ml almond bits and 50ml butter.
Mix Well.
8 Form small balls and roll into coloured almond bits.
